Before your flight Ticket purchases Flight tickets may be purchased from travel agents, the Finnair ticket off ice, Finnair Customer Care Center or on our websites at www.finnair.com. Service charges are lower for online ticket purchases. Budget-conscious, weekly offers are available on the website. Electronic tickets are used on all Finnair flights. When purchasing an e-ticket, the customer receives an itinerary/receipt, which may be sent by post or e-mail, as well as by mobile phone text message if requested. The passenger must retain the printed itinerary/receipt for travel on intercontinental flights to show to immigration officials in the destination country. Intercontinental and most European routes already allow different classes of travel on outbound and inbound flights, for example Economy Class on the outgoing flight and Business Class for the return. It is also possible to book the return flight from a different city within three different areas: Finland, Scandinavia and the Baltic countries and the rest of Europe. On most intercontinental trips, you can also return from another city. One-way tickets are also available on all routes. Trips for all kinds of travel Business class: You may change your booking, and if you decide to cancel your trip then the entire fare will be refunded. Seat availability remains better than in Economy Class right up to the time of departure. You can reserve the seat number of your choice up to six months ahead of time on international flights. Special conditions may apply to certain special prices. Business Class customers may use a special check-in service at Finnair destination airports. They are also permitted to carry more baggage than Economy Class passengers, with no surcharge. If you only have carry-on baggage, then you may also check in at the transfer desk.
